Danika Holmes Featured at CD Baby: Main Stage at Major Festival

Backstage artist Danika Holmes was just featured in an article at CD Baby (the article just happened to be posted there by our friend and Backstage Music Row author Bob Baker)!

It seems this out-of-the-box thinker and indie artist from Iowa doesn’t just take “no” for an answer when looking for gigs. She had a desire to perform as an opening act on the main stage of the Heartland Jam Music Festival (this year featuring Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Phil Vassar, Gretchen Wilson, and more).

When the festival didn’t respond to Danika’s request for consideration, she decided to enlist her fans’ help. Within 18 hours of posting a request on her Facebook Fan Page, Danika got an email from the festival promoter that read, “Wow! Your fans have surely spoken!”

The next day her band was booked as the main stage opening act for the festival! Read the full CD Baby article here…

Jeb Hart, a member of Danika’s band, recently wrote and told us they’ve been using Tom’s teaching to “apply moments” and “have gone from playing free gigs to being one of the top paid bands in the area, and are playing venues from L.A. to Cincinnati, Chicago to San Antonio, and two mini-tours in the U.K.”

Tom Jackson Productions is proud to be part of Danika’s team and congratulates her on a supportive fan base, hard work, and creative thinking!
