Backstage friends and country music duo from Scotland, Raintown, has been asked by Aristo Media to come back across the ocean and perform at CMA Fest 2012 in Nashville! They’ll be playing at The Aristo Global Show on Tuesday, June 5, at The Second Fiddle on Broadway.
The group made history last year as the first Scottish act ever invited to play. Check out our Spotlight on Raintown highlighting this and other accomplishments here…
In 2011 they were told they’d have to wait a few years to be invited back. However, 12 months later… they’ll back in Music City, performing with artists like Clayton Bellamy (Canada), Baylou (Australia), Pete Kennedy (Ireland), Jessica Ridley (Canada), and more.
Raintown recently performed their first headline gig in the UK and an acoustic gig in Glasgow at Scotland’s very own ‘Grand Ole Opry.’ And the feedback has been awesome!
The duo reports, “although we do not know all of Tom’s teachings (yet) and we are still learning, we have tried to implement as many of the teachings, videos and webinar information as possible into our live show.” They go on to say, “we feel that without that information we would not be getting music press saying, ‘…that is the best Country gig I have ever attended!’
