Christian Artists: Attend a Free Nashville Workshop

My good friend Ted Bruun, founder of The Extreme Tour, has asked me to extend an invitation to you to attend his free event, The Objective, in Nashville, May 6-9.

Normally, this opportunity is only for Ted’s Extreme Tour applicants, but based on your relationship with us, Ted is inviting YOU to attend this year’s “closed door” interaction and artist development sessions at no charge!

Sessions are designed to equip you to pursue your artistic Calling as effectively as possible. Many of the Industry Experts and Artists Mentors who will be teaching are award winning music pioneers and legends or some of the top voices in their field – people like Word/Warner/Fervent A&R Josh Bailey, acclaimed author/speaker Nate Larkin, and award-winning songwriter Rick Elias.

Topics to be addressed include: Live Performance, Songwriting, Media and Radio Airplay, Touring, Booking, Branding and Merch, Artistic Motive, Networking and Connection, Sustainable Financial Planning for Artists, Artist Management, “The New Music Model” and more.

You must RSVP to attend! Here’s how: email TheObjectiveNashville@GMail.Com. Use the title”Tom Jackson Objective RSVP” in the subject line and include your name, performance name, and number of seats you will need. Because these sessions are closed to the public, you MUST reference “Tom Jackson” so the staff handling the RSVPs know you are with me.

Hear is Ted’s personal invitation to you:

I have had the privilege of serving alongside Tom and his team for the past few years and I have developed a tremendous respect for these dedicated, hardworking servants that have given their all to support you in your artistic expression.

As I have considered how I might honor my friends at Tom Jackson Productions, I was moved to serve them by joining them in their efforts to serve you. So I’ve asked Tom to invite you to this “by invitation” developmental and interactive opportunity we present for a select group of applicants we are strongly considering for our tour and other events we arrange.

The purpose of this gathering is to provide us with an opportunity to meet artists we are considering face to face and to Compel, Equip, and Encourage them to Seek First the Kingdom of God with their gifts, skills, and abilities. Some of you are likely already familiar with this event, and are maybe even already signed up to participate this year.

This will be a comprehensive series of meetings, and there will be opportunity to interact with professional mentors in a group setting and one on one.

If you have applied for the Extreme Tour already, you also will be able to meet with the members of our Artist Selection panel who will be eager to meet you to ensure the best possible fit with our efforts during the Extreme Tour Schedule. Your involvement in this series of meetings will greatly enhance your status with our selection panel (provided we like each other, I guess.) πŸ™‚

The purpose of this invitation is not to get you to apply, but if you haven’t applied for the Extreme Tour this year and want more info about that opportunity, you can visit www.Sonicbids.Com/extremetour2012.

However, you do not need to apply for the Extreme Tour to attend The Objective Sessions. We just wanted to show respect to Tom and the artists he works with by opening this up to you. Also be advised that the Objective Sessions are appropriate for all genres, even if you are not a primary genre we typically carry on the Extreme Tour.

Again, we very much believe in the Calling that God has placed on artists like you, and we really want to help you take hold of the Calling that God has placed on you. This series of meetings is free to you, but it will cost us quite a bit to present. We are investing these funds and the effort of our team because we believe that we are pursuing our Calling by helping you more effectively pursue yours.

We hope you are able to join us!

Again, to attend this free event, you must RSVP! Email TheObjectiveNashville@GMail.Com and use the title”Tom Jackson Objective RSVP” in the subject line.
