Canadian country artist Amanda Thate will be appearing onstage at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival this summer.
Amanda was one of five contestants in a fans’ choice online voting contest, and she won the opportunity to share the stage with artists like Gord Bamford, Gary Allan, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, and Hey Romeo.
The outdoor music festival in Merritt, British Columbia, has hosted as many as 148,000 attendees throughout their several day event.
Amanda came to a Tom Jackson Intensive Workshop last spring with her family because she wanted to learn how to put together a concert that would make fans.

Years ago, I heard Anne Murray for the first time on radio and I had to park my car to enjoy her “Snowbird” song. I predicted that she would go viral and she did in short order. I predict the same for Amanda. Her upcoming CD’s are awesome!!
