Sami Davis, a student of our Online Academy of Live Music, walked away from a recent karaoke night contest with $100!
Herman’s Hideaway in Denver, Colorado hosted a “U Rock” live band karaoke contest earlier this month, and Sami was on hand to take home the prize for the “Best Performance” category.
About her performance, Sami says “I have learned so much studying the All Roads Lead to the Stage DVDs.”
“I used to stand still with my hands in my pockets as I would nervously sing in front of people and now I know how to work the stage and use it as a tool for my performances.”
Adrienne Osborn, Sami’s Certified Live Music Method Teacher, was in the audience and said, “[Sami] ruled using ‘First Word, First Step’, ‘Walking With Authority’, ‘Angles’, ‘One-on-One Communication’, and ‘Zone Communication’. It was so cool to watch. She was so much more professional than all the other contestants I saw.”
Congratulations on your hard work in the process of putting Tom’s Live Music Method into practice, Sami!
