Way to go Angie Johnson! Angie recently auditioned for NBC’s The Voice and joined Team Cee Lo!
During the Fall of 2011 while U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Angie Johnson was deployed on her 7thtour, she performed Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” with military band Sidewinder at a morale show overseas. Someone in the audience recorded it and posted a YouTube video of their performance.
Tom Jackson Productions met Angie when she was in a trio, The Reins, and the band took part in a Live Music Makeover (recorded and available on DVD) with Tom Jackson. Angie has been busy with her music career in Nashville, TN since the makeover.
After the video from her deployment went viral, reaching over two million hits, Angie has been on Ellen, Entertainment Tonight and most recently auditioning for The Voice.
