Give Me Some Real Ideas!

I used to think it was just about the music. Then I heard about Tom Jackson. Years ago, he made me see that it takes more to move an audience than just great songs.

It’s all about the moments. The times in your show that make the audience run back to the merch table asking, “Where’s that song that gave me goosebumps? Cuz I want to feel that way again!”

When people experience moments like that, they want to relive them. That’s how you make fans. When your performance engages and capitvates, the audience is hooked. These moments are what separate good performances from great performances.

But we get asked all the time, “how do I come up with these ‘moments’ you talk about? how do I find them in my songs?”

So during our Free Live Webinar coming up on January 17th, I’ll be talking to you about how to create great moments, and how other artists have successfully incorporated amazing moments in their shows.

I’ll tell you about a moment I used in one of my own performances, getting people from the audience involved. I’ll tell you how Bono and Eddie Vedder took something that was happening in the crowd and brought it to the stage.

I’ll tell you about how some clients of mine turned an awkward moment into a great one, and give you some scenarios for you to work these kinds of awesome moments into some of YOUR songs.

You’ll be able to ask questions and have me address some situations you’ve come across in your live shows. And, I’ll be naming and talking about a new moment everyone needs to work on!

In other words, I won’t just tell you what moments you need in your set. I’m going to tell you how to create them!

But in order to attend this Free Live Webinar, you need to do two things:

1) If you’re not already a Backstage Pass holder, you’ll need to get a Backstage Pass

  • To you cautious ‘dip-my-toe-in-the-water’ types, go ahead and start by buying just one month. (The webinar alone will be worth way more than $14!) And my guess is you’ll want to stay signed up because of the videos, monthly webinars, exclusive blogs, industry feedback, and even publicity/exposure you can get.
  • And for you ‘I-know-I-need-to-kick-off-2012-right’ people, sign up for a full year Backstage. It’s like getting 2 months free!

2) Then register for the Free Live Webinar by following the link on this page…

I’d love to have you on board for the webinar – I’m looking forward to it, and I’m hoping you’ll chime in with some great questions. (We’ll see if I crack under pressure!)

We’ve already got lots of artists signed up, and space is limited… so don’t hesitate! Do something to move your gig forward this year. Invest in your live show.
