Bowling, Chess, and Your Music Career

I am a novice at bowling and chess. I can’t even remember when I last played either one, but I think I represent the average person when it comes to both.

Bowling

When it’s my turn to bowl, I step up to the line, throw the ball and watch what happens. If it’s a miss, I moan or laugh with my friends. If I somehow throw a strike, I shout for joy, pump my fist and return the high fives all around!

Though I’m mildly aware of tracking my score, my one and only goal is to throw a strike. I consider the whole game a success if I’ve thrown at least one.

Chess
