The Objective: Free Christian Artist Event during GMA

The Objective (an event to encourage, equip, and compel artists to “Seek First The Kingdom of God” with their gifts, skills, and abilities) will be held in Nashville, April 18th – 20th, at The Foundry and at Rocketown.

Some of the foremost authorities in the music industry will be on hand to give you counsel on the next steps you should take in order to effectively pursue your calling as an artist. Many of these artist mentors are the biggest and most respected names in the business.

I’ll be there teaching and doing a Live Music Makeover, as well as telling you about streams of revenue available to you as a performing artist. And on the last evening, we’ll be doing an American Idol-type panel critique of some of the artists attending! (No, I won’t be Simon…but I will give you some feedback on your live performance.)

Also scheduled to participate are the folks from Come and Live! Records, Word Records, Bema Records, The Luis Palau Association, The Extreme Tour, Thunder School, Intl, and more! There will be mentoring and teaching available from many established nationally and internationally known artists, including alternative Christian music pioneer Allan Aguirre, and White Collar Sideshow.

This is really going to be a special event that you don’t want to miss.

Topics to be covered include: “Real Success As An Artist,” “The Biggest Myths Artists Believe About The Industry,” “Labels, Record Deals, and The Return Of The Indie,” “Marketing and Image Development,” “Radio Airplay,” and “Booking and Touring.”

Music professionals who book artists or who help develop them, will tell you how you can get connected with their events and venues.

I hope you take this opportunity seriously. These sessions will take place April 18th, 19th, and 20th. The main day (if you can only make one day) is April 20th. But the 18th and the 19th will include workshops, plus valuable opportunities to connect with other artists and industry, as there will be a more relaxed schedule during that time.

But here’s the unbelievable part – there is no charge for your seats in these closed door sessions! My friend, Ted Bruun, Executive Director for the Objective, is selective in who he invites. But he has told me I can invite my readers to this event.

With only a few seats left, you’ll need to RSVP RIGHT AWAY by sending an email to the following address (include the number of seats you will need along with that RSVP, please): THEOBJECTIVERSVP(at)GMAIL.Com.

Take advantage of this opportunity if you can. See you in Nashville!
