This I find is the glue that holds a show together. if the spots between songs aren’t fluid enough to easily seep into the next song, it does make for a rather dulling break in the flow. most acts I see are good at this, but point taken, it’s not something you first think of when rehearsing songs and a set. but it should definitely be at least as important as how you are ending a song. full stop? let it hang? transition into another song? there are options so explore them!
