House Concerts: Keep It Organic
An artist I work with asked me some questions recently about house concerts. For those of you who might be unfamiliar with these, it’s simply a concert done at someone’s home.
Set up in a living room or basement, shove some furniture around and invite friends and family over for the gig. It’s typically a pretty informal affair.
This is a great way to expose your inner circle of friends and/or fans to new music you are doing, and a good excuse for artists to hang and play together.
The question from this artist asked if there was a place for using tracks at a house concert. She plays piano and guitar as well.
