Austin Renfroe talks about his Live Music Makeover Part 5 of 5 Video
Austin Renfroe worked on his set with Tom Jackson, then went on to book 70+ shows, which in Austin’s words, “set me up for the year… gave me a brand new fan base… and financially allowed me to do work on other projects!”
Austin’s strategy is one Tom Jackson highly recommends: write the songs, work on the performance, do live shows and get a response from the audience, then take what you’ve learned into the studio to record!
As Austin sees it, “You’re 10 steps ahead in the recording process by working out the emotion of the song live.”
Does Austin say his time with Tom was worth it? “It’s the best investment I’ve ever made in my career as an artist – hands down!”
