Watch this song and critique to learn the concepts of leaving space, mic/mic stand technique, and the art of presenting a 3rd verse. Singer/songwriter Tricia Mitchell attended a Tom Jackson Bootcamp because, as she put it, she wanted her “live show to be more live!”

During the event, Tricia performed one of her original songs for Tom and a group of industry experts. Her humor and “fun quotient” was high. But Tom wanted her to leave some space for the audience to really “get” the lyrics.
