In my recent blog, Frustrated With Your Music Career, I told you I have been connecting with old friends. (More about that in a minute…)
Just to remind you what I had said in that article, I gave you four points to get more passionate about your career and less frustrated:
- What Is This “Vision” You’re Talking About?
- Hold On to the Ideas & Begin to Plan
- It’s Time for Some Risk Taking
- Instead of Frustration, You’ll Have Passion.
Today I’d like to talk to you songwriters. What plan are you going to use? Do you have a songwriting vision? There are not many successful plans I know about that are specifically created just for you.
But there is one that I have seen work for over 20 years!
One of my friends (I dare not call her old) is Lynn Barrington. I have personally seen her Big Bold Songwriting curriculum work for many great songwriters we know and love.
She has graciously agreed to present her 15 minute video, with very cool FREE content, to my email list. It is called The 3 Massive Mistakes Songwriters Make — click here for access.
This is great, concise, common sense information that no one but Lynn is talking about! She will help you understand how most songwriters don’t write to connect to their entire audience, and show you what she means by the “3 ways people are hard wired” to experience the world.
At the end of this free video, Lynn gives you 4 opportunities to begin your plan and do a little risk taking by investing. (It’s not really a risk on any one of these offers, because Lynn knows her stuff.)
Plus, because you are on my list, each offer is substantially discounted. She gives you insider songwriting information that artists, producers, and publishers, frankly just don’t have the time, or inclination, or ability, to tell you.
Here’s your opportunity. Don’t miss it. And like I said in the above blog, “Armed with a vision and a plan to work out that vision, you are more focused, passionate, and appealing!”
If you do the work that Lynn has made available through this video and her offers, you can have that plan and make your vision come true. (This can be your very cool Christmas gift to yourself or others.) If you know another songwriter who has been struggling, share this article and help them out, too.
I know you are super busy during this holiday season, but I have given you right HERE the opportunity to start your very own plan in 15 minutes. What a great way to start the New Year!
Thanks, Lynn!

Just an FYI. The link to Lynn Barrington’;s site is not working. You might want to let her know.
Ken
Ken,
Thanks so much. I think for a moment there was a glick…all is well now.
Also, you might need to clear your cache, so the proper link works.
Ken, would you email me at lynn@lynnbarrington.com and tell me exactly what happened? I would so appreciate it.
Thanks for all the great advice and info Tom. Although I am most often bogged down with emails and the “business of making music” I “always” take time to read your posts.
Keep it coming. We all love it, even though we often don’t take the time to tell you.
All the best.
Have a tremendous Christmas, and may peace and joy fill your household throughout the year.
Andy
Thanks, Andy – I really appreciate that I’m on your “read” list! Merry Christmas to you, too!
