FREE Bootcamp & More: Facebook Giveaway

Free Registration for BootcampWe’ve got a great Facebook giveaway going on!

Go to our Facebook page, “like” us, then follow the instructions below. Let your friends know about this cool giveaway, too. No sense keeping all the fun to yourself!

Starting today and lasting through July 12, we are giving away our best prize ever:

  • Grand Prize – a free registration to our September 26-27 Tom Jackson 2-day Bootcamp!
  • EVERYONE who enters will receive a coupon for either 10, 20, or 30% off any of our resources or Bootcamp (coupon amounts chosen at random for all entries)

Bootcamp is regularly priced at $399 ($299 early bird special), but you could save that amount and use it toward your travel to Nashville if you win this FREE REGISTRATION! Here’s what you must do to enter:

1) Like our Tom Jackson Onstage Success Facebook page.

2) Upload a photo of you or your band to your Facebook profile or page, and add the hashtag #LIVEMusicLives and @Tom Jackson Productions to your status.

3) Then come back to this page, and comment below about why you should be the one to win this fantastic Grand Prize (why should Tom choose your entry? what do you want to learn at Bootcamp? how do you plan on using the opportunity?).

Because this contest is so important, we’re going to give you 12 days to enter. Tom will pick the winning artist immediately following the entry deadline of July 12, 2014, and we’ll post on Facebook who he chooses. Be sure and enter before then to win a FREE registration for Bootcamp!

And remember, EVERYONE who enters will win something — either a 10, 20, or 30% discount coupon to save on your next order from Onstage Success, and that includes all our DVDs, CDs, books, and even Bootcamp registrations.

Some rules about entering:

  • Please do NOT enter if you are not able to pay for your travel and come to Bootcamp! We’d hate to give away this awesome prize to someone who doesn’t use the free registration – let the artists who are sure they can come have a chance to win.
  • If you’ve already registered & paid for Bootcamp, this prize would be a registration you can use for a friend to come with you. (In other words, we won’t refund your prior registration if you win this free one — but how much fun will the trip be when you have a friend or fellow musician coming with you!)
  • You may register if you are part of a band, but the winning prize is only for 1 person to attend. We would give you a $299 discount off the band/group registration, however, if your entire band would like to attend.

Looking forward to reading your comments below and seeing which one of you can convince Tom you are the one who should come to our Bootcamp this fall for free!

  1. Hi,
I’d definitely want to come to your bootcamp to improve my skills.
But I live inFrance and it’s way too pricey and too far…
So I hope, I’ll win a discount to buy your DVDs 🙂

  2. My photo shows what I call my box… Me in between the ‘safety’ of my speakers and PA… Even though this ‘safe place’ has helped me deal with performing alone, I know that I need to break out of it! It’s holding me back (I am holding myself back) I need help to open the lid of this box and be shown the method to help me climb out, to learn about stage presence, locations, tools and all there is to know and understand and not leave the success of my shows down to Devine grace or the hope that the planets will aline for the two and a half hours every night I play… I know Tom says he is ‘just a plumber’ so please Tom take a screwdriver and take out the screws holding the lid on my self imposed box on and help me get out! The opportunity to attend the 2 day bootcamp would open up my music and live show, it would give both myself and my show direction and structure. I am Irish, living in The States on a 5 month visa which runs out October 13th of this year. I could take these skills back home and wood chip my craft over the winter to help make my show become an incredible, memorable experience for my audience, full of ‘moments’ which I could learn to create at bootcamp, make it a show that will capture and engage the people watching and listening!

Thank you very much, I really do genuinely appreciate the chance to do this and for my entry being considered!

    Many thanks and kind regards,
    Diarmaid

  3. Tom,

I feel you should select me for the Grand Prize because I love to sing and perform and would love to learn all I can to improve my performances and connect even more with my audience. I moved to Nashville to pursue my goal of becoming a Country Artist. I am doing what I can to get the money together to attend your bootcamp in the event I don’t win. You should chose my entry because I want your guidance and experience to help me set myself apart from every other Country Artist who comes to Nashville to achieve their goal. I’m hoping to learn about the art behind making a performance great and creating moments in my performances which will allow me to make lasting impressions on my fans. I plan to gleam as much information as I can from your Bootcamp and use this opportunity to meet and network with musicians and other artists. This opportunity would mean so much to me and I sincerely hope to be able to meet you in September.

    Always eager to learn,
    Sarah B

  4. I first met Tom picking up a piece of paper he had dropped at Rick Barkers MIB Artist Bootcamp. Remember me?:) I feel as if Tom should choose me as in order to be the BEST you must go through the worst. I have been through so many trials and tribulations on this journey unrelated to music industry. I know God led me here for a reason and many divine interventions have happened for me out here. It’s actually a miracle I am still here today and reside in Nashville. I am eager to learn from the BEST, motivated and I am up for the challenge. I want to learn to improve my live performance presence and be trained on how to entertain the best show for my FANS. I have had many obstacles and set backs happen to me out here in Nashville. I feel as if God is preparing me for the best is yet to come. I will use what I learn for my future career in the music industry and I will be the best, on top of my game while on tour and will have Tom and his Onstage Success team to be so grateful and thankful for, for the success that is to come. I have had some unexpected income set backs and not sure I can afford this otherwise. I have witnessed what Tom and his team can do for us and I would be so blessed to be chosen for this free opportunity. Thank you for taking time to read this. God Bless Janelle Grace

  5. Hello Tom,

I’ve been a full time musician (singer/songwriter/touring artist) since I graduated high school and have dedicated everything in my life to my music and music livelihood. I am constantly searching for new ideas and techniques to push myself, image, and show to next level and reading your blog has helped me to achieve that. I live by your “audiences go to an event for 3 reasons: 1) to be captured and engaged, 2) to experience moments, and 3) to have their lives changed”. Playing both songwriter rounds (pin drop shows, intimate setting) and full band shows (more going on, louder) has given me tons of time on stage to work these practices in, but I feel I’m not at the level I could be if I were to have a day or two to soak up the methods (in person) such as the ones you teach. Touring is my main source of income and I embrace that it’s one of the only ways to make money in the music industry. I love being on the road and performing for people, I just want to give them a better live experience – to have them walk away saying they were absolutely so happy they came, that really fills my heart with joy. So in a sense, this opportunity is for me, but it’s for them. It would be a real honor and a privilege to work with you for the sake of music and to keep people in the seats.

    Cheers,
    Rory

  6. Hello Tom.

Thank you for all the incredible information and wisdom you already share with us for free! I have your book and have been using your techniques to improve my stage presence, set list and banter and I would truly benefit from getting you and your team’s personal touch during the Boot Camp sessions.

Since returning to the business after so many years away, I am investing my time and energy in the pursuit of my authentic self to share with my audience and give them the very best experience that I can. I am about to embark on a long term cross country performance road trip around the USA and I could sure use everything I can get to make it a resounding success. So, please check my music out and pick me for the Boot Camp! Thank you. 🙂

  7. 1) Tom should choose my entry because – I am dedicated and I have been dedicated since the age of 11 yrs. old. I am now 18 yrs. old and would love to take it to the next level.

    2) What I want to learn in Tom’s Boot camp – I want to learn how to capture the moment. I want my fans to walk away wanting more and I want them to feel like they got what they came for.

    3) How do I plan on using the opportunity – I plan on using the opportunity at my shows to capture the moment. I want to feel awkward because if you are feeling awkward you are doing it right.

Bonus answer – Tom should choose me because we look alike 🙂

  8. I should be the one to win this fantastic prize because I bring something fresh and new to the table. I’m young, determined, and ready to reach my full potential as an artist. I have seen the “moments” Kim Perry and Taylor Swift have with their audiences. I want those moments, too! I have a unique voice and a country/rock writing style. I love getting into my songs and dancing on stage, but I want to take it further. I watch videos of Tom Jackson, and I think we would make a great team!

  9. William Tozer says:

Hi Tom and Jodi et al
I am burning to take my self to the next level as a performer. I have been to the awesome Travelling Roadshow Boot Camp in Wetaskiwin AB Canada last summer. I have been working on your system and ideas for a few years, ever since I got the chance to see your original video series. I am older and get positive reviews and feedback every time I perform which is almost weekly despite living in a smaller center and I have been woodshedding and refining my songs and basic skill set according to your method. I have even signed up for and am in the process of taking your online course and have been helping others to move forward by exposing them to your methods and ideology in the realm of music.
I play roots rock and also perform in a Blues/Rock Band, a Christian Blues Band, a Faith based Duo and as a solo artist as a Singer and Guitarist. I do original music as well as covers and am always looking to connect with my audience live or “Memorex”.
I know that when I get a chance to get to Nashville and experience the full BootCamp and all of the opportunities that are a part of the package it will help me to make a greater impact on many levels

  10. Kathryn Holland says:

    Hello,
My name is Kathryn and I’ve been watching Tom’s videos for a few years now. Tom, let me just say you have really provided a whole new landscape for performing
artists to improve their craft, and you have definitely changed the way I watch a live show! I’d love to experience your wisdom in person, because I was born to play music and I plan to engage and capture the audience for as long as I live! This journey has taken me from a severely self-conscious performer who looked like a deer in the headlights, to a highly confident one who is excited to learn and improve even more! My next step will hopefully be a
European tour come July 2015. I’m a fiddler and singer-songwriter as well, so I plan to use this opportunity to improve my stage presence no matter who I’m performing with, and discover the true “message” that I want to share with my audiences. Also I love Nashville! For me, all roads definitely lead to the stage so I couldn’t be more excited!

  11. Lauren Mullinax says:

    Shalom Tom, ^_^
    My name is Lauren Mullinax!
Tom, you should choose my entry because I have one of the biggest passions for music and my heart longs to create a new genre of music to change the entire world positively. I have a powerful testimony and I know that God wants to use me on a grand scale. I believe it with my entire being! I use to be atheist and went deep off into all the earthly pleasures, just trying to find love, but ended up being put in a mental hospital after becoming an addict and having a suicidal attempt. I kept hearing this inner voice which I know with all my heart was God. I experienced things that made me fear God but I also see how amazing the Lord has been to me. I have been set free from all the past things and I want to share that experience with this generation. I want others to feel what I have felt but in their own personal way. I want to call out other peoples purposes. God gave me something to live for, that purpose is what drives me! The dream that was pronounced to me was that I would affect the world positively with a new music sound through new forming technology. I have played cello for 10 years and guitar for 4 years now, and I have practiced my fingers to the point where they are permanently scarred by calluses (I’ve had blisters that I have never seen on anyone else). I have been teaching myself how to sing and play cello at the same time, along with the songs I write (which makes me unique) I have a lot to offer and I really have put in the time of practice. I’m talking about thousands upon thousands of hours and I need to be pushed further in a new way. God has kept telling me that I am in a season of preparation. I feel that I am at a place where I am stagnant and not knowing my next steps, but I’m willing to go where the Lord makes me go. I have so many song ideas that can change the world for the better but I can’t do it alone. I need to find the right people and I want to learn at your boot-camp what it is I need to do as a performer to completely change the atmosphere and change the lives of the people who come in contact with hearing my life song. How to draw people in, how to capture the hearts of people who are dying inside. I plan to use the opportunity to further the Kingdom of God. To spread the love that has captured my heart, along with so many other people. My heart just goes out to people and I want to grow even more in my musical journey. I have something to share and it can save lives!

  12. Hi Tom,

We missed seeing you at the Objective this year. The live feed was great while we had it though! Being at the Objective is why we can’t afford to register for your Boot Camp in September. It would be awesome to win a registration for it! I would like to win it to do exactly what you are most passionate about – making our live show great. Our agenda is not to become an national act (we know if God wanted to, it would happen.) The reason we want our live show to be great and create moments is so the message can be heard – both at the show and later as they relive those moments listening to the recordings. We’re doing what we can with the emails and publications – to work one on one with you and your team…would be awesome!

  13. Krissi Perryman says:

    Hello Tom!!!
This is so exciting in so many ways! One, you are willing to help us be a success! Two, I have the opportunity to learn more about how to be successful if the music business! If you pic me to win this wonderful gift, I will use the gift to not only help me succeed, but also try to inspire others along the way! I would like to learn how to be more powerful, build my audience, become a much better performer and so much more at your boot camp! I am a dry sponge ready to soak up every bit of information that I can learn from you! I really want to use my music to share my story and let people see who I am and what makes me so different! I want to share the love of Jesus everywhere I go. I want to go deep within the hearts of people all over the world and let them know, no matter what they are going through or where they have been that there are others willing to help and Jesus never leaves our side! I have been pursuing music most of my life, but have recently been blessed with not only a husband who supports every dream that I have of becoming a singer but also some very influential people along the way that are willing to teach! Now is the time to truly start learning, and living my music dream! I NEED YOUR TRAINING! My husband is my #1 support and I have learned it truly takes support from home to make this ministry a go! LETS do this! 🙂

  14. Hi Tom,

I have always wanted to be in the music business but my family kept my from pursuing it until I got older. My first cd was released in 2012, and though I have had countless opportunities to perform I have always wanted a little more instruction on how to perform. At present, I feel ill equipped to perform a set. It’s one thing to sing songs in front of people but quite a different thing to put on a show which is what I would like to know how to do. I need guidance on how to take my live show to the next level. I like your idea of “creating moments” for the audience and I want to feel more confident and be able to engage my audience. To know what I am doing.

    Maria

  15. Hello Tom and Jodi!
I have recorded 4 Cds and would like to polish my skills on the stage and make my show the best it can be. My goal is to attract more fans and to get my music out to a larger audience.
You should pick me because I have a desire to learn, listen, apply, and improve….and I think you can help me and I would really benefit from this opportunity!
    thanks,
    Susan Ketron

  16. Hi Tom,

I recently quit my day job of 13 years to pursue music full time and after years of doing it on the side I now spend nearly every waking moment trying to find new ways to further my career and make a decent living for my family. I recently released a new EP “Follow” (see http://aaronmcdonnell.com/ for details), and relocated to Austin, Texas to break into the music scene here. I am networking like crazy, have a new band put together, and booking lots of shows but I want (and need) guidance on how to take my live show to the next level. Your idea of “creating moments” for the audience is huge and I want to learn! Thank you for the resources you provide to artists, very cool.

    Take care,

    Aaron

  17. Hi Tom!

I tagged you but because it’s a professional services page, it wasn’t showing up in the list…hopefully I’ll still qualify to enter. Long story short, I have been performing live for a little over a decade and the last couple of years I have buckled down on the business education side of things. I want my next investment in myself to be your bootcamp because live performance coaching is something I’ve never had and I think I’m ready to benefit greatly from it…I’m in front of audiences of over a thousand people at least several times a year and I want to be able to create moments that are memorable for them. Now that I’m in this position, I’m poised to best utilize your coaching and knowledge, and I’m ready to step up to the plate. Thanks for your consideration!

    Cheers,
    Katey

  18. Hi Tom,

I can change the energy in a room when I sing, connecting the audience to their hopes and dreams and making them laugh at how crazy life can be. Pick me because I AM going to break all the rules about ‘age-ism’ in the music business and I know that YOU can help ne do it! Ple-he-he-he-heeze! Thanks for all you do!
