You may have nights where things don’t go as well as usual. Maybe you have a sore throat, maybe the strings break on your guitar, maybe you can’t hear because the venue’s sound is bad.

But if you make people feel important, they’ll respond to you anyway! If you don’t believe me, then listen to what Winston Churchill said:

“If you want them to smile, smile first.
If you want them to take an interest in you, take an interest in them first.
If you want to make them nervous, become nervous yourself…
People will treat you like you treat them.
It’s no secret. Look about you. You can prove it with the next person you meet.”
