When it comes to posting videos on YouTube, many artists have “creativity-block.” Other than posting a little live video a friend shot of a show somewhere, or spending thousands of dollars on a professionally staged & edited video, they can’t seem to come up with ideas.
But when I wrote a series of blogs on YouTube, Music & You recently, I realized that the ideas can go on forever when you think in terms of “moments” for your YouTube audience, in the same way we develop moments for the live show!
That’s what led me to give this Webinar (free for our Backstage Pass subscribers) on how to create unique videos for your YouTube channels. I was joined by artists from 13 US states and Canada as we talked about what kinds of moments you might choose to include in your uploads. Whether the moment is Different, Instructional, Touching, Personal, Lyrics, or Holiday… whether it’s a song, a vlog, in your home, at a train station, in the studio, at the mall, or in the park… your YouTube videos can capture & engage new fans and treat your current fans to a closer look at who you are.
