Spotlight on Anna Morgan Michel: Heart Full of Songs!

Anna Morgan Michel is a girl with a guitar, a powerful voice, and a heart full of songs!

She started singing at age two, by age six was writing her own songs, and now just 13 years old, Anna Morgan has already built a reputation as a singer and songwriter with a versatile style that encompasses country, pop, jazz and gospel. With a deep, soulful style, she has amazed audiences at numerous venues all over the South.

This journey for Anna Morgan began after singing at an open house for a local business… and she was hooked! She wants to spend her life making music and dreams of one day singing on stage at the Grand Ole Opry.

The young singer has opened for some wonderful artists: Three Doors Down, Daughtry, Darryl Worley, Blackjack Billy and Tyler Farr. In addition to interviews in papers and other publications, Hattiesburg’s country radio station B95 recently interviewed this rising country singer. And her first EP is available for purchase.

In the meantime, Anna Morgan is putting a band together and working on her career, while still attending Middle School and attaining straight A’s.

Recently, Anna Morgan attended the Tom Jackson Bootcamp in Nashville, winner of a Facebook contest where Tom himself chose her from among the dozens of entries.

“My live show has improved,” says the young singer. “Tom Jackson taught me the skills to make my live show better for my fans. I have added stories, trashcan endings, changed up songs and added a stool during one song. Everyone that came up to me after my last show was very complimentary… I could feel the people were connected.”

Anna Morgan is excited for the opportunity to share her deeply moving music with you and bring a new twist to old hits. Her strong Christian faith drives her to excel and she hopes her music touches the hearts and souls of her listeners.
