I’ve taught & worked in Virginia Beach at the Army School of Music, worked with the band at United States Military Academy West Point, and even gone overseas to work with an Army Band stationed in Germany.
U.S. military bands have a lot of talented musicians – even Grammy winners like Staff Sgt. Brandie Lane (2011 Grammy for Best Engineered Classical Album).

It’s always an interesting gig for me. There’s a combination of people: new recruits just out of bootcamp starting their musical career in the military; seasoned Army musicians who lead and play in bands of all genres; even retired Army musician teachers and administrators at the School.
