New Release Hits Radio: Spotlight on Herrick

Fans label the band Herrick “A Breath of Fresh Air.” Different is intriguing, and Herrick has been winning fans and music insiders with every show they play.

Their innate instinct for creating high quality music has helped Herrick stand out from the crowd as they tour to standing room only crowds across the country.

And their newest release, “Do You Love Me” has just been released to the country music air waves, bringing even more followers into the Herrick fold!

Check out this music video of their latest song and listen for yourself. The video has been nominated for a 2013 Telly Award and premiered on National TV The Country Network – CMT and GAC:

Comprised of Donna Herrick (mandolin/lead vocals), Kerry Herrick (bass/vocals), Jeff Bradshaw (drums/percussion), and Jefferson Rogers (lead guitar/lap steel/acoustic guitar), Herrick belongs on the stage, and their audience can feel it.

Donna’s pioneering vocal, a kind of audible kiss, a blurted confession backed by a fierce mandolin. Jefferson’s master guitar sounds, Kerry’s legendary bass beats combined with his tight harmony blend. Bradshaw’s magnificent wash of drums and cymbals full of passion.

All of this through a dizzying, hour-long crescendo until the final band hit.

The band is not short on awards that testify to their talent and creativity. Herrick has won Best Country Song from the Independent Music Awards, International Acoustic Group of the Year from International Acoustic Music Awards, Airplay Direct Best Alternative Country Band, and a National Telly Award for Best Song. And now the Academy of Country Music has nominated Herrick for 2013 Emerging Artist.

Donna Herrick says they’ve become known as one of the best live bands in the country since using Tom’s Live Music Method. “When people comment on Herrick they ALWAYS love the band’s stage presence, the energy of the show, the drive,” says Donna. “Talent can be natural, but live performance is something that is learned and does not just happen. Tom taught us that everything has a purpose, and that’s what keeps our fans coming back.”

We appreciate Herrick’s drive to be the best they can be – with their songs, their recordings, and their live show! There’s no doubt this group has great things ahead of them, and Tom Jackson Productions wish them all the success in the world.
