Tom Jackson Teams Up with Kids Alive to Make a Difference

Christian artist Beckah Shae with Kids Alive child

Tom Jackson has a passion for helping kids in need – so does Kids Alive International. So it only makes sense that the two would work together to find artists willing to join them in speaking out on behalf of children around the world!

At Tom Jackson Productions, we put artists and organizations together to help underwrite touring costs, fund recordings, raise money for gear and travel and more, while bringing amazingly cost effective and efficient fund raising opportunities to non-profits like Kids Alive International.

Millions of children in the developing world live in desperate, life-threatening situations. Orphaned, abused and neglected, they often end up on the streets begging just to survive. Many are victimized by predators and have nowhere to turn and no one to help care for them.

The facts are heartbreaking:

  • Over 25,000 children die each day – most from preventable causes.
  • 1/4 of all children live in poverty; nearly 1/3 are malnourished; 1/5 don’t have clean drinking water.
  • About 150 million children are homeless, vulnerable to exploitation and abuse.
  • Over 130 million children – mostly girls – don’t attend school; millions more receive very little education.

Kids Alive International is a Christian faith mission dedicated to rescuing orphans and vulnerable children – meeting their spiritual, physical, educational and emotional needs.

Kids Alive provides children with the love and care every child deserves, and raises them to be contributing members of their society and witnesses to their family and community.

Kids Alive International began in 1916 in Shantung Province, China, when missionaries Leslie and Ava Anglin began taking in homeless Chinese children.

From those humble beginnings, Kids Alive today has expanded worldwide, helping care for thousands of children in 14 of the poorest countries through residential homes, care centers and schools. And they reach even more children through medical clinics, community outreach programs and (in special cases) disaster relief response.

As an artist, do you perform at least 25 concerts a year? It doesn’t matter whether you’re full time or part time, whether you play tours across the US or Canada or individual gigs in your home town, whether your audiences are large or small. Kids Alive International and numerous other organizations are looking for artists like you. They’ll give their support to your music, while you give your support onstage to what they do.
