It’s a Process

I want you to start the process now, because that’s what it is – a process.

I REALLY wish I could just wave a magic wand over you so that you’d “get it” without any work. And if I could manufacture a magic pill for you to swallow so all your live shows would be the greatest shows you’ve ever had, I’d do that. But I can’t.

I can give you answers to your questions – like I did in the video below to answer the question of how to have confidence onstage. But you still need to apply the answers to your own show!

So I want to give you a number of ways to begin learning, applying, woodshedding, and integrating my Live Music Method into your show. In fact, I have so many ways for you to learn that sometimes it can be confusing. So let me tell you about 2 of the easiest ways to start:

1) Take advantage of our Live Webinars as a Backstage Pass member. Backstage Pass is the most affordable way for you to learn, and these Webinars are free to those of you who are Backstage.

2) Because my goal is to help artists, I want to reach as many of you as I can! So we have Road Show Bootcamps and the 2-day Tom Jackson Bootcamp to help you get what this artist and her manager got:

“We attended your classes, and from the first session we realized you taught a hidden amazing “secret to the stage.” Thank you for providing this service to those of us who would probably take a lifetime of performance to figure it out!” – Gail Grigg, manager for Holly Starr

Here’s the deal: I don’t want you to take a lifetime of performance to figure it out! My Live Music Method will give you what you need RIGHT NOW. So instead of taking your lifetime to figure it out, you can use that time to start making more fans, get better gigs, increase your vocal range, sell more CDs,…

So we’ve scheduled Bootcamps to help you start the process – and (did I mention it?)… it is a process. I was recently asked how a young artist can hope to have confidence onstage. (Which is possible with my Live Music Method!) Here was my answer…

Start learning the concepts, do the woodshedding – ask us for help with the details, whether you join us Backstage, come to a Bootcamp, or have us work with you one-on-one.

But whatever you do, start the process now, so it doesn’t take you a lifetime of performances to figure it out yourself!

  1. Listen to the man!
I have been doing this all my life, sometimes I felt like I belonged there and sometimes I did not. Always had voices in my head. “Oh, you need a real job” “You can’t earn a living at music” and the ideas were both external, from “Friends and family:” and also internal because at times I believed the voices. When you get to the point where it is not a question that you belong here, you will want to do it well and with passion. I am not at the age where folks start a career but there is more going on now than altogether in my past, cuz I am working my butt off and I also believe it is where I am supposed to be. Thanks, Tom, for all the encouragement that sneaks through all the teaching and work you push us to do!
