What’s Your Biggest Songwriting Problem?
There are lots of bad habits a coach can work on when a new songwriter is wanting to grow. Of course there’s that nervousness (like right before the doctor says “get undressed and just sit here on this metal cabinet covered with paper”).
But this isn’t a doctor’s visit. No shots will be given!
Still, to have someone look at your work with a view to messing with it or even messing with the way you do things makes you feel very vulnerable.
So you’ll be surprised at what I think is probably your biggest songwriting problem (even without hearing any of your work). It’s not magic or even a “secret tip” (those exist, by the way… Santa and the Easter Bunny keep them safe). Here is what I’m going to suggest as your biggest songwriting problem:
