Act Like You Belong without Acting Like the Fool

You have heard the terms “fake it till you make it,” “look and act like you belong” to give the impression you should be where you want to be, and “see yourself comfortable in the place where you want to be most.”

It is true – but there is a fine line you want to watch and not cross too heavily to one side or the other, especially in entertainment.

On the far right side, you have the way too cool for school. The tourist types that try to look like they are at home in a city, pretending as if they are residents and then they see a super shiny sign, a celebrity, or a tall building and they go all bat shit crazy. These are the people that the scam artists, thieves and con men watch out for since they are the easiest prey.
