Congratulations JUNO Winner Kellylee Evans

Ottawa jazz vocalist Kellylee Evans says winning the JUNO Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the year “feels like flying!”

Kellylee’s winning album was Nina, a tribute to renowned original jazz singer and black activist Nina Simone.

Team members at Tom Jackson Productions met Kellylee last year when she attended two Tom Jackson workshops while in Nashville. Her vibrant style and beautiful voice captured listeners, and Kellylee went home with newly learned concepts on how to make a real emotional onstage connection with her audience as well.

We hope to see Kellylee again soon, and wish her all the best in her award-winning career!
