You’ve probably heard of award winning actor Hugh Jackman – known for his feature roles in films such as the “X-Men” series (Wolverine) and “The Prestige,” he is also an ambassador for World Vision Canada.
Jackman uses his career to make a difference. Not long ago, he made a video appeal for World Vision, urging people like you and me to help provide support to victims in Haiti.
You see, World Vision has worked in Haiti for over 30 years, and will likely be there for years to come, helping survivors rebuild their lives. It’s been exactly 11 weeks ago since the devastating earthquake hit Haiti.

Am a Ugandan. In Uganda we’ve had an insurgency that has lasted for more than 2 decades. Almost half of our nation has been affected by the war in which the USA on list terrorist group the LRA(Lords Resistance Army) has killed, raped young girls, looted done all kinds of mayhem to the people in the Northern part of our country.
A whole generation of people has been wasted. About 2millions have been displaced tens of thousands killed no education to the children that were lucky to survive the mayhem caused by the LRA rebels
In future, when my stage career has risen,I would like to help the most affected people. The youth in that region, the injured soldiers who selflessly risked their lives and fought to protect the innocent masses.
