My Guarantee for Your New Year

Happy new year, everybody! As 2010 begins, a lot of you have resolved to pursue your music and give it a good shot. You’re excited about the future. You have a vision for what your music career could be.

I want to be a part of helping you fulfill that vision. I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of helping countless artists with their careers and ministries. The one common denominator for all of them, if they’re going to have a career or effect people’s lives from the stage…they have to have a vision and a plan for what is going to happen on that stage.

On February 12-13 at my Bootcamp, we’re going to talk about what happens onstage between you and your audience, and how it’s a crucial element for anyone onstage. In fact, I’m so confident that I can help you do this, that if you come to my Bootcamp and don’t feel it was worth it, I’ll give you every penny back!

If you’re going to do this, you need the knowledge, encouragement and support. That’s what this workshop will be.

If I could beam you all to Nashville, let you experience it, and beam you home, I would. But I can’t. However, if you have renewed a vision for your career or ministry, you know it will take some time, energy, and money to do this.

I promise you – no, I guarantee! If you come to this workshop, you’ll walk away inspired, equipped, and motivated.

Why don’t you grab a musician friend, tell them about the Bootcamp, and bring them along. I’ll give them the same guarantee.

You’ll get some of the same advice people pay me tens of thousands of dollars for. The same advice I give to people who sell millions of records, have hit songs, and who transform millions of peoples lives every year.

  1. I am hoping by attending the bootcamp in Nashville – it will be the turning point in my musical Career and will give it the spring board that I need to start doing music full time!
    I am excited !!!

  2. Hi Tom,

We are also coming to the Bootcamp and are very excited about it (started watching on of the DVD’s as well and it’s great). I, like Emilie, have a young daughter who just turned 16 a few weeks ago. Her name is Maddy. She and I are registered for the Bootcamp in February (and we also got your DVD series for her to watch before hand).

Maddy has been training and developing her talent as a singer for several years and in the last year or she’s been writing her own songs and making some strides. But one issue she struggles with is nerves. Not all the time. Only when the stakes are high (or she perceives this in her head). She has an important performance coming up in 12 days, so way before the BootCamp. Do you have any specific advice that could help her in any way before that performance (any quick technique?)

    Regards,
    Jaime

    • Jodi Marcum says:

Jaime, I know you have the DVDs, so quickly go to “Get the Show on the Road” and watch Tom’s class on The Foundation with Maddy. Then take a look at Tom’s quick tip for Stage Fright problems here: Like Serious Stage Fright. Maddy will learn a lot at Bootcamp about having confidence and authority onstage! But in the meantime, remind her that her audience WANTS to like her! They are there to enjoy her show, and they are anxious to see her take charge and let them forget about anything but her music for the minutes she is performing. They’re pulling for her when she’s onstage!
Tom and all of us at Tom Jackson Productions look forward to meeting Maddy and helping her grow as a performer during the Bootcamp in February. See you then!
      Best wishes,
      Jodi

  3. Yes – Jodi was extremely helpful and friendly. The girls are excited about coming and we plan on signing them up! It sounds like a great opportunity and the price seems so reasonable. See you in February!

  4. Emilie, I hope Jodi was able to answer your questions about Bootcamp – I’d love to see your daughter there! It’s important for young performers to get the right tools and techniques for their live show; but I also think that those same concepts can be used by them wherever they are and whatever they do for the rest of their lives. I’ve been working with a young teen artist for several years. His mom has commented that “these same skills are those he’ll draw on as he works with people the rest of his life, from classroom to boardroom. This was an investment in our son, not just an investment in his gig.” I know you’ll feel the same way, too!

  5. I was at the IBMA’s this year in Nashville and went to one of Tom’s workshops. It was absolutely incredible what he did to the band he worked with. It was a group of kids my age ( 16,17,and 18) and they were a totally new band once he got done with them. I learned a lot from watching him and was so excited to get to meet Tom. This guy can really work miracles!! 🙂 He has inspired me to take my fiddling to a new level and to pursue my dream as a performer. Thanks Tom.
