They already had good songs, and are good players, but they recognized that there was something missing. So I helped them find the “missing link” that would capture and engage their audiences!
We first worked on creating moments in their set and I showed them how to maximize those. To accomplish this, I start with the arrangement of the song. I find where we can leave space to build authority. I look for where we can lengthen certain parts, allowing time for audience participation, allowing time for a section to build with tension and release, or whatever it is that fits the song and makes it memorable for the audience.
