It can be overwhelming trying to decide where you need to focus your time. And you definitely want to spend your money more efficiently. But how do you know what’s right for you?
Should you be working on songwriting, finding a producer, getting bookings, working on your live show, or recording a CD? Do you have the right imaging, do you need a publicist, should you be working on a CD release strategy? You may think you need a manager, when what you really need is some direction!
Artist Assessment
Have a trained professional do an appraisal of you and your music, and then give you a list of their top recommendations for moving your career forward. With an Artist Assessment you will receive:
- a review of your music
- a review of your press kit and merchandise
- a review of your websites and social networking sites
Then we will contact you at your convenience to discuss where you are as an artist. We’ll give you advice as to what top 3 or 4 things you should be working on, and instruction on where you can get help to work on those priority items.
You’ll even receive a 15-minute followup visit to make sure you’re on the right track!

Artist Development Package
Our Artist Develpment Package is a 3-month consulting plan which not only includes the Artist Assessment, but also helps you develop long-term strategies you can implement for long-term growth. And we’ll help you work on action plans to implement those top priority strategies that will advance your career. In a way, it’s a short-term “manager for hire!”
With the Artist Development Package, you’ll receive:
- help in identifying the top initiatives you need to work on (through the initial assessment)
- help in prioritizing and working on the top 3-4 recommendations that will advance your career
- weekly meetings and contact to develop and monitor the implementation of the priority strategies
Artist Development Package: $2,499 for the 1st month/ $1,499 per month for the 2nd and 3rd months

Scott McReynolds
Scott McReynolds is president and co-founder of Vertical Entertainment, a full service management company for over 15 years. Scott has represented or worked with artists such as Sierra, Tammy Trent, Erin O’Donnell, Solomon’s Wish, Salvador, Go Fish, 38th Parallel, Britt Nicole, and independent artist Carried Away . Scott has also been successful in launching the careers of comedians Brad Stine, Anita Renfroe, Thor Ramsey and Dave and Brian.

Scott lives in Franklin, TN and is married to Jennifer McReynolds. They have three children, Jacob, Josie and Judah.
Jennifer Hendrix
Jennifer Hendrix McReynolds was a founding member of the group Sierra. In 10 years together, Sierra sold over 500,000 albums, had 5 #1 singles and over 15 top 5 singles. They successfully toured internationally and also had a TV show. Jennifer has remained active in music by being the founding member of a worship group called Abide. She also sings with the worship team at her church.
Jennifer is married to Scott McReynolds and has three children, Jacob, Josie and Judah.
