It’s Obvious to YOU
I get asked quite often, “how did you get started working with artists on their live show?”
Sometime I’m asked what qualifies me to do what I do. (I imagine they’re wondering what kind of college degree it takes to be a Live Music Producer – and there is no degree program, by the way. Although I’m contemplating a training school…)
Actually, I got into this because of a number of opportunities and experiences.
I played in a progressive rock band where creativity and technique were important. I did a 500-date tour with a band where the visual part of the show was vital. And I have worked with well over 200 artists on their shows over the last 20 years, and I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t.
