No matter how well prepared you are for a gig, there are still going to be things that come up that you need to be prepared for…as best you can.
About a year ago, I remembered a gig I had done years ago, that I had totally forgotten about. (I think I mentally blocked it out because of the trauma.) One of the agencies I wrote jingles for was involved with a company that wanted me to write an inspirational/motivational song for their company. I don’t remember much about the song now but it was a “soar-on-the-wings-of-eagles” type song that gets you all goose-bumpy and pumped up.
