Your Music on YouTube
By now I’m sure you realize the importance of YouTube in your marketing plan. Your fans want to see and hear you on an ongoing basis… it keeps them excited and in touch with what you’re doing.
There are lots of ways to use YouTube to market yourself: showing backstage footage, tour clips, answering questions from fans, etc., and hopefully you’re utilizing it to the fullest.
But when it comes to your music, how do you produce great videos for YouTube?
Obviously, you don’t need to have polished pro-quality ‘music videos.’ If you have them, of course use them — but that’s all the more reason then to give us something different. From time to time fans actually want rough, uncut-type footage with a little more realism. So mix it up from post to post.
