Road Show Bootcamp Wetaskawin June 22

“Fantastic day with Amy” and “This is really worth the investment to your performance and [engaging] your audience” is part of the initial feedback I’ve received about our first Road Show Bootcamp in Canada.

The Road Show was held just outside Edmonton in Wetaskiwin Alberta, and a small but eager crowd arrived Saturday morning to begin the information-filled day.

Tom Jackson’s associate Amy Wolter began the day with “Developing Confidence On Stage,” and laid out the foundation for everything artists do in front of their audience.

Quickly following that session was “Tom’s Live Music Method,” and “Live Music Business Principles: Making More Money.”

Then two “Live Music Makeovers,” featuring artists attending the Road Show, helped drive home the techniques and show artists how to apply Tom’s fundamental principles to their shows.

The day finished up with an hour long session on “Graphing the Perfect Set List” and an evening of showcases. I’ve yet to hear how the showcases went, but I will update this page when I have more information. (Attendees: Feel free to share your experience and feedback from Amy in the comments below!)

Plans of returning to Wetaskiwin are already in the works as well as a 2nd stop in Calgary next year!

Amy had a great time meeting these enthusiastic artists in Alberta – she was even able to spend some 1-on-1 time with several of them the following day to do some intensive work on their shows.

And there was even one more perk for Amy: “10:32 and still daylight!” was her post on Facebook last night. (Gotta love going north this time of year!)

I’d love to post pictures from the day; if any attendees would like to share, please email them to me at bootcamp@onstagesuccess.com.

If you were in Wetaskiwin, leave comments below about your weekend!
