JB and the Moonshine Band’s album Beer for Breakfast was recently listed in Rolling Stone as being one of the top country albums in 2012.
They join the top of the list with artists Kellie Pickler, Jamey Johnson, Lionel Richie, and Easton Corbin.
The magazine says “These East Texas country rockers are like a thousand other bar bands, with a crucial difference: Frontman JB Patterson can really write songs – balancing sentiment with low-key Music Row wit and driven home with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers-like chime and crunch.”
Tom Jackson was pleased to be able to work with the band on their live show earlier this year, and sees nothing but good things for the group. Congratulations, JB & team!

Tom suggested I “study this guy’s work” and I gotta say, they really are awesome! 😉
