You may already have met my good friend, Mike Smith. He’s been on our Bootcamp showcase industry panel numerous times!
But whether you’ve met Mike or not, I recommend you get to know him better through some videos he has available on his website.
Mike has been in artist management for over 30 years, working with artists like Salvador, Chonda Pierce, Brad Stine, and Go Fish.
In his first video, Mike will tell you all about his background and how he got started in artist management. You’ll learn how having a passion for music at an early age affected his career choices.
Mike’s second video was just published today. He calls it “If Nothing Changes, Nothing Changes.” Developing an artist’s career is vitally important – and yet very few people are actually trained in this important vocation and calling. Watch this video and see what Mike explains are the 2 major roles in the job of artist management.
On November 14, Mike is going to open up registration for his Artist Management Training course. Maybe this is an interest you have. If so, I strongly recommend you opt in today for instant and free access to Mike’s videos here…
I’m currently in the training & I can tell you that these videos are PHENOMENAL! Mike takes the time to interview industry heads of business and they explain their role as it pertains to the music industry as a whole. As someone who wants to help artists tell stories with film, I’m incredibly grateful for the level of detail Mike puts into this training!
I first heard Mike Smith years ago at a CIA Summit put on by Keith Mohr of IndieHeaven. I also heard Tom Jackson for the first time at that conference. I was so moved by both speakers, that I signed up to attend an artist management conference that Mike Smith put on later that year and also began working with Tom’s Associates. Both experiences have been life changing!
I’m so glad to hear that Mike is making himself available to us as artists again!
