Lizzie Sider Has Music Industry Fluttering with New Release

Only 14 years old, singer/songwriter Lizzie Sider already has the industry a-flutter with her autobiographical new single Butterfly!

With a whole lot of country and a hint of pop, this young performer provides a great story through this song from her latest album. The song Butterfly is about overcoming life’s obstacles, mistreatments and/or misfortunes.

Penned by Lizzie with 2x #1 singer/songwriter Jamie O’Neal, Jimmy Murphy and Lisa Drew (There Is No Arizona), Butterfly parallels Lizzie’s current journey to country music.

“Scribbling down lyrics and playing the piano became an escape to a happier and safer place when I was being teased and not accepted,” says Lizzie. “Now, I can’t even explain how much fun we had working on this album.”

Don’t expect Lizzie to be a replica of any mainstream country artist because she definitely can hold her own when it comes to satiating a country music lover’s appetite with her mature vocals and youthful lyrics. Listen to Lizzie’s debut single, “Butterfly,” currently being played on radio:

Her “in studio” music video of “Butterfly” is playing on GACtv.com and on TCN – The Country Network’s television station.

And take a look at this video of Lizzie performing another song from her new Butterfly album, How ‘Bout You:

You can find Lizzie performing all over the country! She recently opened for Jamie O’Neal and for Aaron Tippin. Lizzie was featured performer at the Ocala, FL Rodeo, and will be the featured performer at the Inverness, FL Rodeo in November.

In addition, Lizzie has played at writer’s nights this past summer at Nashville venues such as both Hotel Indigos, The Listening Room, The Red Rooster, and Rooster’s BBQ, and was a featured artist at the Commodore Lounge. She recently performed in the Grand Ballroom at The Waldorf Astoria Hotel at Couture Fashion Week in NYC. And she has been the host of 2 episodes of “Breaking Out”, a TCN – The Country Network’s television show that showcases up and coming country artists.

People in the industry say they love working with Lizzie. She is clean cut, a breath of fresh air, a little old fashioned in certain ways, wholesome, fun loving, and very respectful of others.

Tom Jackson agrees! He has been working with Lizzie on her live performances for the last year and admires her abundant talent and the hard work she puts into her craft.

Lizzie loves working with Tom as well: “I immediately started being silly and myself around Tom, because the air around me felt so comfortable when he walked in.”

“We started picking apart the songs, and rearranging them to make them more fun and interesting to perform,” Lizzie said. “One song felt so amazing – I was all caught up in the moment, looked around me, took a breath, and said to myself: ‘Wow. This is amazing. This is what I’ve been working towards.'”

Lizzie says, “I try to write music that will touch people, and perhaps, even take them back to when they have had a similar experience.”
