Top Performer Rae Solomon Packs House for CD Release

Artist Rae Solomon recently played a CD release concert to a nearly sold out house (350 in a 400 capacity venue), then delivered such a great live show she sold $800 worth of merchandise in one night!

Fall of 2011, Rae was given a Tom Jackson Bootcamp Top Performer award – a recording session with producer Steve Dady (Keith Urban, George Strait, Michael Tait).

After experiencing Dady’s expertise in the recording studio, Rae went on to record an entire EP with him, featuring 7 songs, one of which is a co-written duet with country star Benton Blount.

Check out this music video of “Chasing the Sunset,” the song Rae performed at Bootcamp  (also the first one she recorded with Dady):

Tom Jackson Productions isn’t the only group to see the potential Rae Solomon has! In recent months, Rae has opened for Chris Cagle, Crystal Gayle, Blake Shelton, Love and Theft, Blaine Larsen & many more.

This summer, Rae played the Watershed Music Festival at the Gorge in Washington, appearing at the Festival with artists such as Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, & more. Rae was even named a Top 5 Performer to see on the locals stage at Watershed!

Reviews of her live show at the Watershed included:

“Solomon set the tone for her show early. It would be one of the favorite sets of the day, as, like Miranda Lambert on the main stage the night before, Rae Solomon is very much a rock star and she owned the stage.” Read entire review by Another Rainy Saturday here…

“Opening with Country-Fied Chick, Solomon really set the stage immediately for what was to come with her strong stage presence and catchy country-pop tunes.” Read entire review by PopYOUlarity.com here…

And this month, Rae will be opening for Lonestar and Sawyer Brown at the 542 Music Festival!

Off stage, Rae Solomon may be known as Seattle’s country darling, but make no mistake, the moment she steps into the spotlight her high energy sass leaves her audiences begging for more.

Possessing a very rare ‘perfect pitch capability’ Rae’s bold voice jumps through the speakers and cuts through all the clutter you hear today. “The stage is my time to connect. I want to captivate people and make them feel something!” says Solomon. “Music is so much more than just music. It’s feeling and emotion and memories.”

The former Rodeo Queen began her performance career on the front porch of her childhood home, writing songs by age 7 and belting out “Friends In Low Places” to neighbors and passers by. At age 13 she began training with world renowned vocal coach Maestro David Kyle and after a successful trip to the International Presentation of Performers in 2007, where she won two awards, Solomon began attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music.

Here’s Rae Solomon and her band “putting pressure on the audience,” à la Tom Jackson!

“I’ve always loved to entertain and be onstage,” Rae states. “There is just something about the connection you feel to an audience when the spotlights are on and you hear the crowd screaming.”

But she admits, “Until I went to one of Tom’s workshops I didn’t think it could get much better, and boy was I wrong.”

Rae says her show has always been very high energy and that hasn’t changed. However, since implementing some of Tom’s teachings, the reactions she is getting from her audience have definitely changed!

“Our shows are receiving great reviews from on and offline publications, we have doubled the amount of fans on our mailing list, and our merchandise sales have skyrocketed! Now when I’m on stage the connection is deeper and the energy from the crowd is unbelievable!”

Rae also says she seem to be getting fans that are more connected to her – they’re sharing her material and posting about her all the time. Rae is seeing that “Tom’s methods are really paying off – going to Bootcamp was the best money I’ve spent on my career in a long time!”

Tom Jackson believes this is just the beginning for Rae Solomon and her music career, and we are happy to be a part of  her team.
