Recording artist Jason Crabb received two Dove Awards at the 42nd Annual GMA Dove Awards. Jason received the awards for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year, for “Joseph,” written by Don Poythress and Tony Wood; and Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year, for “Go Tell It On The Mountain.”
In addition, “Sometimes I Cry,” the latest southern gospel single from Crabb’s GRAMMY® Award-winning 2009 self-titled debut, was named Song of the Year.
The emotional ballad, which Crabb performed during the show, was written by his father, acclaimed songwriter Gerald Crabb, who also took home honors for Songwriter of the Year.
Having worked with The Crabb Family, Tom Jackson is glad to see both Jason and his father honored in this way – congratulations and continued blessings!
