The Days You Live For

I was just taking a look back over the last few years and all the great artists I’ve had the privilege of working with and am so proud of what they are accomplishing in their careers. I feel grateful to have had a part in working with all of them on their live performances. Here’s just a sampling…

The Stellas, who appeared on CMT’s “Can You Duet”  were voted 1st place by TV viewers & came through in 4th place through the judges’ votes.  In 2010 they were invited to join the sold-out ‘A Place Called Love’ tour with Canadian artist Johnny Reid.

The Band Perry just got nominated for a Grammy and they’ve now signed to tour with Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan in spring and summer 2011.

Gloriana was named by Billboard Magazine, one of the top country duos/groups for 2010. Their single ‘Wild at Heart’ went gold and the group opened for Taylor Swift on her massive Fearless tour.

Sidewalk Prophets and Francesca Battistelli are on the biggest CCM tour going- Winter Jam, playing 47 cities with established names the Newsboys, NewSong and American Idol favorite Chris Sligh. Francesca is reigning Dove Award Female Vocalist. And her single, ‘Free to Be Me’ held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Christian/AC radio charts for 10 consecutive weeks. Sidewalk Prophets was nominated this year for a Dove Award for Album of the Year.

Reilly in concert

Violin-rock band Reilly was invited back to Main Stages for the 2010 summer festival season after creating a major buzz over their live shows on side stages the summer before.

Country artist Matt Gary released the CD ‘The Days You Live for’ on his own label, 17 Music Entertainment, to positive critical acclaim.

There are so many more artists I could talk about…everyone has their own niche and their own audience and career path and it’s exciting to see what happens with every artist I work with.

I’d like to encourage you to keep working at your thing, pushing through and making your mark. Your audience is out there – they just need to see you, hear you, and remember your name. When you hit the stage you have one shot to connect and make a fan.

If you’re saying, ‘I just can’t seem to make my live performance happen, and I’m not sure how to change that’, then take a step to do something about it. Book a session with us or come to our next Bootcamp in March.

Based on what we see happen to artists in our sessions together or in these workshops, you won’t be sorry you spent the time and money to do it!
