Whether it’s your CD/DVD replication and artwork, your press kit, or merch to sell at your table, I know there are a lot of people out there to choose from for help.
I think it’s important to have someone who consistently does what they say they’ll do, in a timely manner, at a reasonable cost.
I’ve dealt with some merch/CD manufacturers that don’t make the big CD release deadline they promised, and on that night the $25 I saved didn’t seem like such a great bargain!
As you know, I don’t do this very often, but I want to recommend a couple people we’ve been using for a while:
Guy Mahmarian at Vision Van Gogh does creative image and branding; he also handles product development for your CDs and DVDs. They’ve done quite a bit of the artwork and duplication for my DVDs over the years.
The most recent product they did for us was this Turn Off the Stars Live Music Makeover cover.
Toby Hancock at Stickers and More handles custom printing and design. They do everything from T-shirts to posters to banners, and everything in between! The Live Music Lives stickers we hand out at conferences and package with our online orders was their handiwork, as well as the pop-up banners we use at our merch table.
Here’s the latest sticker they’ve done for our Expressive Worship website and conferences.
Having some great quality merch at your table gives you the opportunity for another stream of revenue at your concerts. Plus, it gives your audience something to take home with YOUR name on it – great publicity for you and something special for your fans.
If you don’t have a merchandiser you regularly use, feel free to give Toby and Guy a call. Tell them Tom Jackson sent you! (Hopefully they won’t charge you more when they hear my name!)
I have tried to get a hold of Toby to order some Sticker and I have been unsuccessful ! But I will keep trying because I know how Awesome they are. I have your sticker from the workshop on my Laptop and it is holding out beautifully !
Thanks
