Me, Myself, and the Audience

Did you take a vacation this summer? I did. First I took some time off with my wife – had a great time on the beach! And last week the whole family spent a few days together, relaxing, enjoying some activities close to home.

I had time to do some writing, catch up on some correspondence…the main question in quite a few of the emails I had received had to do with “how do I apply your concepts to MY show?” For those of you asking that same question, please see my LIMITED TIME OFFER on my Live Music Makeover “The Reins.”

You see, I haven’t talked about it a lot, but I’m really excited about my new Live Music Makeover product line! My Live Music Methods – the concepts I teach – really come to life in these DVDs. In a sense, they can help you connect the dots for when and where you can use them in your own show.

What I worked on with this group applies to EVERYone, regardless of what you play, where you play, how you play….EVERYTHING will apply to your music and artistry! The 2 moments that I spend the most time on with The Reins, plus the technical stuff we go through, WILL WORK FOR YOU!

These Live Music Makeovers are not slick and polished – think more reality TV – they were shot so that you can relate to them, and really see how your rehearsal needs to be…and for a limited time I’m offering “The Reins” at a $20 off savings…more info…

By the way, one of the things I love to do on vacation is read something new. Whether it’s a book about our society, something inspirational, a good biography…it helps me gain new insights.

Last year in a blog, I shared my thoughts about biographies and how they relate to the live show. I even shared how I thought my own biography might read. But at the time, my website didn’t give you the ability to post comments and engage in discussion about it.

I’d love to have you check out that blog now and tell me what you think! What are your thoughts on “perspective and the audience?” When you are part of the audience, what’s your perspective? And let me know how you think your biography might read!

  1. After working with Tom I have change the phrase “Me, Myself, and my audience” to My Audience, me, and myself”. With the emphasis on AUDIENCE ……

  2. In truth, immediately i didn’t understand the essence. But after re-reading, all at once it became clear.
