It All Depends

A couple of months ago I wrote about the huge number of CDs I bring home with me after an event where I’ve taught. It’s because a lot of artists at those events hand me their CD and say, “I’d love for you to listen to this and tell me what you think.”

So I wrote That’s What I Think, and a lot of you responded with your thoughts as well.

Just recently I read a blog by Derek Sivers, a friend of mine who is best known as the founder of CD Baby. Derek is a great entrepreneur and musician that loves to help other musicians. I thought it was interesting to read that he, too, is often asked by artists to “listen to their music and let them know what they should do!”
